How To Live In Power Mode

Here are some guidelines for how to live a powerful, happy life, seven key strategies for being the best you can be.  Pay attention to these simple pointers and see your life  change for the better.
 
1. Live consciously and be aware in the present moment.
Focus your attention on what you are doing in this present moment – in every present moment.  Be mindful, present and observant.  We can only live in the now; the future has not arrived yet and the past has gone. In this moment I choose, and in this moment I choose – and make progressively better choices.

2. Love yourself as you are and as you are not.
Love and trust yourself to know how to cope with the challenges life sends you. Challenges help you grow and deepen your wisdom and experience. Without challenges life would be rather dull, wouldn’t you say? Give yourself permission to express your own original thoughts, to feel your emotions and to experience life uniquely and on purpose. Allow yourself to love, to sing, to dance, to be spontaneous and joyful. These moments give magic to living.

3. Accept Responsibility for your life.
You are the creator of your life; you alone live your experiences, and life is all about experience. Decide how you will respond to what turns up on the wheel of life. Is your usual response that of victim or that of personal power? At every moment you can choose to take responsibility and stand in your power, or surrender responsibility and play the victim game: powerless and at the mercy of what you may ruefully call fate. Choose to stand in your power and be responsible for your life.

4. Value yourself and your contribution.
You are unique. In all the universe no-one else is exactly like you. You are special and irreplaceable; worthy of respect and love – from yourself first, and then from others.
Be authentic with yourself and honest in your dealings with others. Others will reflect back you to exactly what you believe you are. Notice how others respond to you, so you can adjust your thoughts and actions to attract more positive responses.

5. Define and fulfil your purpose.
You came into this life to fulfil a deliberate plan and purpose. Ask your inner guidance to show you what you came here to be and to do and outline your best life plan. Discover what makes your heart sing and include doing that in your plan. There are several other attributes you may like to include: love, relaxation, fun, work, effort, contribution. This will be your blue-print for living to your full potential, with joy.

6. Act with integrity and fairness.
In short, treat others as you would like them to treat you.  Be congruent with your best and highest self. Integrity is its own best reward.

7. Live with an attitude of appreciation. 
I was going to say, with gratitude, because gratitude says it all. But I choose to say with appreciation because it adds the notion of recognising the magnificence, the beauty, the uniqueness, the gift in everyone and everything in life. You are presenting yourself with an immense gift by viewing your world with eyes of appreciation.

Make your life count.
You have an amazing chance to make this life count at many important levels. So live in power mode. Make your future 100% bigger than your past. And enjoy every single day. It is your choice, my friend. Live your dream.
